How to convert an audio file

Choose an audio file from your device, select the output format and channels, then press Flip it. The converter downloads its processing engine on your first conversion and saves the finished file to your device. You do not need an account.

Audio outputs include MP3, WAV, OGG, FLAC, and WMA. MOV and MP4 options combine audio with an image to make a video. Large files and video exports take longer and need more browser memory.

For example, select a WAV recording, choose MP3, keep stereo for music or choose mono for a single voice, and convert. Listen to the result before deleting the source. WAV and FLAC outputs are lossless; converting a lossy source to either format cannot restore discarded detail.

File conversion runs in your browser. The converter downloads software from a CDN; it does not upload your source file for conversion. If it cannot finish, check the connection, try a shorter file, or choose a different format.
