How to edit an audio file from Google Drive

Download a recording from Google Drive, edit it in Sodaphonic, and upload the finished copy. A workflow that does not require a Drive connection.
Steps
In Google Drive, download the audio file to your device. Make sure you have permission to download and edit it.
Open Sodaphonic’s audio editor and choose File → Open. Select the downloaded recording.
Edit and preview the recording, then choose File → Export to download an MP3 or WAV.
Upload the finished copy to Drive. Use a new filename so the original remains available.
Tips and examples
A Drive sharing URL is a link to a page, not an audio file. Download the actual file before opening it. If your school or organisation disables downloads, ask the owner for an approved way to obtain a copy.
Browser support varies by audio format. If the file will not open, try converting a copy to WAV or MP3 with the converter.
